Poland Solution Center has started its business operation in Lodz on July 3rd, 2006 and it is the result of cooperation with American company PTC (Parametric Technology Corporation) Software and Services – the worldwide leading supplier of Product Lifecycle Management and Enterprise Content Management solutions. The cooperation will be mainly focused on Western Europe, but the expansion of services is possible all over the world.

Presently, 54 people work in Poland Solution Center. Center, however, has ambitious plans to hire about 100 people by the end of 2007. New workers, with special regard for software developers with knowledge of Java (graduates and experienced people), are urgently needed.

Poland Solution Center directs its offer also to students. Thanks to the beneficial partnership with University of Technology in Lodz, from October 2006 lectures at faculties of informatics will start.

Additionally, students will have a chance to write their Master’s Thesis concerning PLM systems. With the best one, Center will create a possibility to form an alliance.
In connection with the opening of Hi-Tech Software Center and further development of the company in the region of Lodz, the vice-president of Lodz Marek Michalik, with these words: “Vision of Lodz as a center of new technologies is a priority for the city”, signed the intense letter concerning the cooperation with PSC.
